Welcome
Educational Talent Search is an early intervention project. Serving 1000
students in grades 6-12, the program promotes the skills and motivation
necessary for successfully completing a baccalaureate degree. Emphasizing
personal/career development, technological/academic skills, ACT
readiness,
and college preparatory workshops, students are prepared to meet their
college entry goals. Academic monitoring and counseling are incorporated to
facilitate the progress of each student. Summer
enrichment and campus-based events provide ongoing opportunities for
institutional and faculty involvement. This program is funded by the US Department
of Education.
News
College Road Trip 2009 This summer we will be offering three “College Road Trips.” The trips will provide rising 9th - 12th grade Talent Search participants the opportunity to see a number of colleges and universities in Arkansas, Oklahoma and Missouri. A flyer was mailed to each student on May 22nd and should be postmarked for return no later than June 1st. The flyer provides students with all of the exciting details (dates, institutions, dining, hotel accommodations, etc.) for each trip. As with all Talent Search activities, these trips are provided as a FREE service to TS participants! If you are a participant in Talent Search and did not recieve a flyer in the mail, please contact our office at 479-575-3553. more news Calendar
