The Summer Institute for Gifted & Talented Scholars offers three scholarships to assist students with the cost of attendance. Awards are limited and competitive. Students may complete applications for all scholarships for which they are eligible. Scholarship Form (pdf)

Academic Scholarships (Award range $250 - $750)
Awards based on academic achievement and strength of application essays.

Need Based Scholarships (Award range $250 - $2250)
Awards are based on demonstrated financial need and strength of application essays.

Women’s Giving Circle Scholarships (Awards of $2450)
Scholarships are limited to female applicants who have an interest in math or science, live in the delta region of Arkansas, and demonstrate financial need. Students applying for this scholarship must choose to study a course in math, science, or engineering and live in one of the following counties to be eligible: Arkansas, Ashley, Chicot, Clay, Craighead, Crittenden, Cross, Desha, Drew, Green, Independence, Jackson, Jefferson, Lawrence, Lee, Lincoln, Lonoke, Mississippi, Monroe, Phillips, Poinsett, Prairie, Randolph, St. Francis, White, Woodruff. This scholarship is made possible through a grant from the University of Arkansas Women’s Giving Circle.

Scholarship funding is limited so students are encouraged to submit all application materials on or before the priority deadline. Priority deadlines and updated scholarship information will be made availiable in early 2009. Scholarship requests received after the priority deadline will be considered only if awards are still available.
