Students: 9th-10th

Entering high school, you will have the opportunity to apply what you have learned though University Access Talent Search. Your steps toward college entry begin now! Grades will become a part of your permanent transcript and will count toward your grade point average. You will have opportunities to become involved in clubs and organizations relative to your community, to your hobbies and interests, and to your school. Decisions you make regarding academics, interests, and involvement will be key to scholarship eligibility, the major you might select, and the college you will ultimately choose. We are here to assist you with these important decisions. Through your involvement in University Access Talent Search, you will:

• Explore interests, careers, and college majors at monthly workshops held at your school
• Begin visits to college campuses each year
• Attend Campus Day to be held on the University of Arkansas campus
• Be involved in a variety of summer activities
• Request information on colleges and careers, which we will research and mail to your home
• Prepare for college entry and success by exploring a variety of topics relative to your 9th and 10th grade years
